Small Classes. Big Ideas.

The Newark Center for Creative Learning is a K-5 progressive education school located in Newark, Delaware.

At NCCL School, students learn through inquiry and experience in small, multi-age classes, supported by dedicated teachers, individualized attention, collaborative projects, and a flexible, teacher-designed curriculum that ensures each child is known, guided, and inspired.

Children who have been to NCCL do not forget the experience. There is a palpable sense of joy and excitement almost every day of the school year. Our students and teachers want to be at NCCL. As teachers and students, our experiences at NCCL encourage us to bring that sense of possibility and joy in learning to the wider world.
